To aid in your healing, we also offer hyperbaric oxygen therapy. During hyperbaric oxygen therapy, a patient is given 100 percent oxygen in a pressurized environment. The combination of pressure and oxygen increases the amount of oxygen in the bloodstream, sending a breath of “fresh air” into your wound to help in the healing process.

Hyperbaric medicine may help if you suffer from one of these indications:

  • Gas gangrene
  • Diabetic foot ulcers
  • Necrotizing soft tissue infections
  • Osteomyelitis (refractory)
  • Delayed radiation injury (soft tissue and bony necrosis)
  • Compromised grafts and flaps

Our Wound Centers use hyperbaric oxygen therapy and other advanced techniques as part of an evidence-based treatment program that delivers the highest quality of care for your problem wound. Our specialized program helps ensure you get the most effective treatment for your condition. The sooner you visit our facility, the quicker we can begin to treat your wound.
